Win a Sweater and/or a Doll Contest-Week 4

Chief among Miss Bindergarten’s human relatives is Ashley’s mother, Deane.

She was born in 1928, making her a DRAGON! Happy Year of the Dragon, Deane!

And re-reading the list of characteristics below-is she ever the quintessential dragon!

People born in the year of the Dragon are known for their dislike of conformity.  They believe rules and regulations are made for other people. Restrictions blow out the creative spark that is ready to flame into life.  Their characteristics include being:

  • Innovative
  • Enterprising
  • Flexible
  • Self-assured
  • Brave
  • Passionate
  • Conceited
  • Tactless
  • Scrutinizing
  • Unanticipated
  • Quick-tempered

Miss Bindergarten is not a Dragon, she was actually born in the year of the Rat. Rats are not all bad. In Chinese astrology, they are considered Smart, Magnetic, Well-liked, Affable, Quick-witted, Surreptitious, Selfish, Protective, and Calculating. Not bad qualities for a teacher…

All that being said, this location doesn’t have much to do with China, but IS known for the high quality of its celebrations. Gung Hay Fat Choy!

Simply correctly identify at least one of the photo snippets from Miss Bindergarten’s extensive travels in a comment below, and you will be entered to win.

The prize is a Miss Bindergarten doll from MerryMakers Inc and a darling little sweater for her to wear.

All correct answers will be put in a blue bowl and a winner will be chosen and notified at the end of the week.

Check back often. I will post 3 new photo snippets each week as I have 12 dolls and 6 little sweaters to give away.

Good luck!
Pssssssssssssssssssssst!…all the snippets are from photos found in Miss Bindergarten’s albums and labeled by location.

  1. Miss B. is with Cookies-n-cream in New Orleans! And thank goodness that gator wasn’t ready to eat yet…looks like October was a good time for Miss B.

  2. Far left is cafe du monde in the French quarter New Orleans….but alas, this Canadian fan was there in the 80s and her group left her behind. She wandered the streets of N’arlins all day but could not find cafe du monde! I have to go back some day, and bring a GPS !
